בִּיזָּא, בִּזָּאII m., בִּיזְתָא, בִּזְּתָא f. = h. בִּזָּה dividing; plunder, spoil. Nah. 3:1. Targ. O. Ex. 15:9; a. fr.Lam. R. to II, 13 בערביאוכ׳ in Arabia they call spoil (ביזתא) ăditha (with ref. to אעידך ib.). Cmp. עֲדוּדָה. Targ. Is. 60:16 (h. text שד̇); v. preced. w.Trnsf. בִּיזְתָא robbed woman. Midr. Till. to Ps. 1:2 הא ב׳ עלובתא this poor robbed woman; Yalk. Num. 750 (incorr. vers.).
